THE PATRONS

The Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums are the dedicated supporters of the restoration projects for the works of art in the Vatican Museums collection. Patrons come from all across the globe, and make up an influential community of art philanthropists. As a Patron one enjoys such things as VIP events from galas to art historical conferences, complimentary and personalized tours of the Museums, Gardens, Sistine Chapel, Necropolis, and not open to the public spaces of the Museums, direct contact to curators and restorers, and skip-the-line access to St. Peters Basilica.


JOIN THE COMMUNITY AND SAVE THE WORLDS TREASURES

Did you know that the majority of the funds from ticket sales at the Vatican Museums support the Vatican City State in general? It leaves the Museums in a bit of a pinch when it comes to funding the restoration of the actual art. That’s where the Patrons of the Arts, Vatican Museums comes in. A group of global art philanthropists, the Patrons save the Vatican Museums collection. On Patrum anyone, an official Patron or not, can learn about the many restoration projects at the Vatican Museums, and donate directly to support their total funding.
